“The Book…” was conceived almost twenty years ago, as an exercise of journaling with sound instead of the written word with just a few parameters; compose no more than 30 minutes with limited editing later, keep development at a minimum if at all, and set aside all judgement (what comes out, comes out,) The outcome is a fine panoply of musical gestures and atmospheres that reflect not only the moment I was composing in, but also the influences that have brought me to where I am as a musician today.
